Troy Grissom

McMinnville, TN resident and Nashville, TN native Troy Grissom, age 56, was born April 13, 1969 and died November 3, 2025 at Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga, TN following a motor vehicle accident.

A former welder and pipe fitter and a member of the Church of Christ, he was the son of Joe Lynn and Martha Frances Turner Grissom. He was preceded in death by sister, Leah Lynn Grissom.

In addition to his parents, Troy is survived by sons, Slade (Heather) Grissom and Kade Grissom, both of McMinnville, TN; daughter, Whitley Grissom of Morrison, TN; grandchildren, Kadence Grissom, Kerrigan Grissom, Killian King, Everly Grissom, Kaos King and Madelyn Trapp; sisters, Candy (Russell) Milstead and April (Ray) McKinley of McMinnville, TN and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Mr. Grissom will be cremated. Memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 8, 2025 at Smyrna Church of Christ in McMinnville, TN with Tim Long officiating. No service or visitation will be held at High’s.
