Vernon Eugene Powers

Vernon Eugene Powers, age 64, a McMinnville, TN resident and Warren County, TN native, was born January 29, 1957 and died November 26 2021, at Diversicare of Smyrna in Smyrna, TN following a three month illness. He was a self-employed truck driver and mechanic, and the son of Jo Powers, of McMinnville, TN and the late Howard Powers. In addition to his mother, Mr. Powers is survived by son, Brandon (Jessica) Powers of Signal Mountain; brothers, Joel (Julie) Powers and Darryl Powers, both of McMinnville, TN; sisters, Valerie Powers of McMinnville, TN and Linda (Charles) McEwin of Morrison, TN; stepson, Jake (Heather) Trapp of McMinnville, TN; and mother of his son, Pam Powers of McMinnville, TN. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Graveside service and interment will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 27, 2021 at Fawn Lake Cemetery in Warren County.
