Wayne Tubb

McMinnville, TN resident and Warren County, TN native Wayne Tubb, age 84, was born May 2, 1939 and died June 2, 2023 at his residence following a brief illness.           

A former employee of McMinnville Garment Factory, owner of Newtown Skating Rink and member of Bethany Church of Christ, he was the son of the late Johnny Dillon and Beatrice Bell Tubb. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by daughter, Lisa Gaye Tubb; sister, Faye Kirby and brothers-in-law, Gene Allison and Robert Kirby.

Mr. Tubb was married to Carolyn Couch Tubb of McMinnville, TN for 38 years. In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by three sons, John (Kim) Tubb and Jeff (Ann) Tubb, both of McMinnville, TN and Tommy (Angela) Couch of Brentwood, TN; ten grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; brother, Marlin (Georgia) Tubb of McMinnville, TN; sister, Sue Allison of McMinnville, TN and several nieces and nephews. 

Graveside service and interment will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, June 5, 2023 at Bethany Cemetery in Warren County, TN with David Costello officiating. Visitation will be Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. and Monday from 10:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at High’s.
