Willard "Buddy" Couch

McMinnville, TN resident and Warren County, TN native Willard “Buddy” Couch, age 83, was born January 28, 1943 and died October 1, 2026 at St. Thomas Rutherford following a sudden illness.

A National Guard veteran, retired employee of the parts department at Carrier Corporation and member of Jericho Church of Christ, he was the son of the late Ernest Powell Couch and Lida Mae Bost Couch. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, Gerald T. Couch; brother-in-law, J.C. McDowell and sister, Linda Couch McDowell.

Mr. Couch loved mowing and gardening.

Mr. Couch is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Tommy and Angela Couch of Nashville, TN; grandson, Dustin Couch of McMinnville, TN; brother, Joe E. (Janie) Couch of Clarksville, TN; nephews and nieces and special friend, Terrie Clark of McMinnville, TN.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 7, 2026 in High’s Chapel with Samuel Bain to officiate. Burial will follow at Salem Cemetery in Warren County, TN. Visitation will be Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at High’s.
