William Wayne Burch

Rock Island, TN resident and Indianapolis, IN native William Wayne Burch, age 74, was born November 9, 1951 and died December 6, 2025 at his residence following an extended illness.

A United States Army veteran and former machinist with Cumberland Lumber Company, he was the son of the late William Wayne and Janice Conaltz Burch. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, David Burch.

He was married to Carolyn Burch of Rock Island, TN. In addition to his wife, Mr. Burch is survived by children, William Wayne (Jackie) Burch of Rock Island, TN, Kimbra Herzog of McMinnville, TN, Susan Beach of Chattanooga, TN, Patricia Ashburn and Lori Smith of McMinnville, TN and Billie (Mike) Barnwell and Carolyn Burch, both of South Carolina; fifteen grandchildren; twenty-five great-grandchildren and one on the way and sisters, Melissa and Stacy, both of Indiana.

Per Mr. Burches wishes, he will be cremated. No service or visitation will be held at High’s.
