William Dennis Yott

William Dennis Yott, age 65, a McMinnville, TN resident and Warren County, TN native, was born August 30, 1956 and died September 27, 2021 at Ascension St. Thomas Midtown in Nashville following a brief illness. He was a master barber at V’s Hair Salon, a member of the First Assembly of God, and the son of the late William Yott, Addie Jackson, and Relley and Helen Hitchcock. Mr. Yott is survived by two sons: Relley Yott and fiancé, Cheyenne Marsh of Smithville, TN and Matthew Yott of McMinnville, TN; stepson, Travis Shockley of Texas; two sisters, Willine (Jim) Buckley of Murfreesboro, TN and Mary Ruth (David) Livingston of Lenoir, NC; and brother, Phillip (Debbie) Yott of Lenoir, NC. A host of nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, October 1, 2021 in High’s Chapel with Glen Burks and Sammy Lee officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery in Warren County. Visitation will be Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Friday from 8:00 a.m. until the time of service at High’s.
