Wilmus Carl Bouldin

Morrison, TN resident and Warren County, TN native Wilmus Carl Bouldin, age 82, was born March 26, 1940 and died July 25, 2022 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN following a short illness.          

A farmer, retired maintenance worker for Carrier Corp. and a member of Grange Hall Church of Christ, he was the son of the late Bryan and Demmie Roberts Bouldin.  He was married to Wanda Higgins Gann of Morrison, TN on February 24, 2018. In addition to his parents and first wife of 50 years, Frances Hudson Bouldin, he was preceded in death by daughter, Sherry Bouldin; three sisters, Emma Pope, Birdie Grissom and Pauline McCormick and brother, J.C. Bouldin.

In addition to Mr. Bouldin’s wife, he is survived by two children, Carl (Beverly) Bouldin of McMinnville, TN and Stephanie (Mark) Bess of Morrison, TN; grandchildren, Ashley (Cody) Powell and Bryan Bouldin both of McMinnville, TN, LaNae (Jordan) Calloway of Daytona Beach, FL, Hanna Bess and Jaben Bouldin both of Morrison, TN; great-grandchildren, J.C. Powell, Bryson Bouldin, McKenna Bouldin, Lawsyn Bouldin and Memphis Bouldin; step-daughter, Holly (Keith) Bain of Morrison, TN; sister, Martha (Rayburn) Holt of Morrison, TN; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Sue Killian of Chattanooga, TN, Emmagene (Doug) Durham and Elaine (Ronnie) Hoover of McMinnville, TN, Beverly (Larry) Garrett of Morrison, TN and Wayne (Sally) Higgins of Park City, UT and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 29, 2022 in High’s Chapel with Randall Gann and the Bouldin family officiating. Burial will follow at Bascom Cemetery in Warren County, TN. Visitation will be Thursday from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Friday from 10:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. at High Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Meals on Wheels or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
