Elsie Louise Tate FELTY

Rock Island, TN resident and Lenoir City, TN native Elsie Louise Tate Felty, age 81, was born June 27, 1928 and died November 9, 2009 at her residence following an extended illness. The retired director of the business office at River Park Hospital, office manager for Whitey's Small Engine Repair and member of the Westside Baptist Church, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary Pearl Cummings Tate. She was married to James H. Felty who preceded her in death October 21, 1976. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and Charles Lusk of Rock Island, TN; son and daughter-in-law, James H. and Carol Felty of McMinnville; four grandchildren and their spouses, Holly Saudron Lusk and Travis Earl Dodd, Thomas Clark and Candice Nicole Lusk, Tara Leigh Felty and Stephen Taylor Felty; two great-grandchildren, Kalen Clark Lusk and Tylan Cole Lusk; twin sister, Ascha Wiggs of Durham, NC; brother and sister-in-law, Reese and Jessica Tate of Crossville, TN; sisters-in-law, Lois Tate of Charlotte, NC and Kay Felty of Lenoir City, TN and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service was held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, November 12, 2009 in High's Chapel with Tyree Smith officiating. Burial followed in the Lakeview Cemetery in Lenoir City, TN.
