Sara Kathryn McGregor

Sara Kathryn Cope McGregor, age 92, a McMinnville, TN resident and Warren County native was born January 16, 1928 and passed away February 21, 2020 at NHC Healthcare following a short illness. She was a homemaker, a member of Central Church of Christ, and the daughter of the late Betty Cleo Powell Cope. She was married to James William McGregor who preceded her in death on June 18, 2006. She is also preceded in death by son, James Larry McGregor. Mrs. McGregor is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Lynn (Pam) McGregor of McMinnville, TN; two daughters and sons-in-law, Sara McGregor (Melvin) Covington of Franklin, TN and Caroline (Jeff) Noblin of Knoxville, TN; daughter-in-law, Charlotte McGregor of McMinnville, TN; eight grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; sister, Charlene Cope Nunley; brother and sister-in-law, Billy Joe (Linda) Cope both of McMinnville, TN. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Graveside service and interment will be 2:30 p.m. Sunday, February 23, 2020 at Smyrna Cemetery in Warren County with Wayne Cantrell officiating. Visitation will be Sunday from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. in High’s Parlor. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Meals on Wheels.
